are you kidding me??? the ipod is beast on battery. you think its 8-10 hours, thats no different from the ipad, but if you only listen on music for the ipod you can get about 100 hours on the ipod. i once fell asleep with my ipod on, i woke up about ten hours later, and it was still on, not to mention that the battery was on 20% left when i fell asleep. all you need to do is lower the brightness and turn it off when your not using it and there, a better energy saving ipod.
